Mr. & Miss Railroad Festival Pageant
Saturday February 28th, 2015 12:30pm
Day of Registration from 9:00-10:30
Amory High School Auditorium

Entry Fee: $55.00 (early registration before February 8th) $65.00 after February 8th. 
Admission to the pageant will be $5.00 ages 3 and up. One free entry per contestant.
All contestants must be at the auditorium no later than 11:30 AM pageant day. 

Age Divisions 
Boys: 0-3 years
Girls: 0-12 months, 13-24 months, 2-3 years, 4-5 years, 6-7 years, 8-10 years,
11-13 years, 14-15 years, 16-18 years

Winner of each division will receive a beautiful crown, sash and trophy. Beauties will receive a trophy.
The Mr. & Miss Railroad Festival Pageant is a beauty competition. Contestants will be judged on appearance, poise, stage personality and attire. You may wear a pageant dress or best Sunday attire. 
Boys can wear their outfit of choice.

Within the (16-18) age division, there will be 2 winners to be crowned, one with the title of
Any female within these ages qualify to be in this division, but to WIN the title of MISS RAILROAD FESTIVAL you MUST be a resident of MONROE COUNTY.
 If you are not, you will qualify under the PRE-MISS RAILROAD FESTIVAL title. 
MISS RAILROAD FESTIVAL will be the overall winner of the pageant receiving her title as well as a crown, sash, trophy and for the first time a $500.00 SCHOLARSHIP will be awarded. She will also be on the cover of the Railroad Festival magazine and have public appearances throughout the festival.
 All title winners will be required to get their picture taken by the photographer present to be used for publication for the Railroad festival.
Packages will be offered for anyone interested in pictures.  

Mr. /Miss Photogenic
To qualify your contestant for Mr. /Miss Photogenic, a $10.00 fee along with at least a 5x7 photograph (B&W or color) needs to be submitted no later than 10:00 AM pageant day. The photograph (on the back) needs to have the contestants name and age and will be overviewed by the judges for each age division. The winner of each age division will be announced when the title winners and beauties are awarded. 

  You may turn in all registration forms and payments in to the Amory Housing Authority.
 You may also mail in your form and payment to the Amory Railroad Festival mail box.

Entry fee: $35 before February 28, 2015 After that it will be $50
Registration 1:00 to 1:45  pageant begins at 2:00

 Attire: Pageant Wear 
 Optional Pink Wear Competition
 Age divisions: Boys 0-23 mths and 2-4 yrs Girls 0-11mth, 12-23mth, 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, Mrs.

 There will be 5 Supremes one in each supreme breakdown (Boys 0-4 and girls 0-3. 4-9, 10-15, 16 & up)
 0-3 Beauty, pink wear, and Crowning will be first then we will have 4 & up beauty, pink wear, and Crowning. Pink wear is optional, it can be custom or off the rack. Anything goes as long as it is pink!

 Side awards are Most Beautiful, Prettiest Hair, Best Personality, and Prettiest Eyes.

 Queens and Supremes will receive a gorgeous crown, embroidered sash, and a 5ft trophy.

 Side award winners will receive a trophy.

 We have an optional category for Pink Wear for $10. This can be anything that is pink. It can be custom or store bought. Show us your best pink attire!! We will have a winner in each age division. Winner gets a trophy!

 TICKET SALES QUEEN: The contestant that sells the most tickets will be crowned ticket sales queen and will receive a gorgeous crown, embroidered sash, and 5 ft. trophy. (Must sell over $100 in tickets to receive trophy) Tickets will be entered in a drawing for $50 cash. Anyone who does not win Ticket Sales Queen and sells over $55 in tickets will be our Ticket sales princess and receive a crown for participating. Ticket sales go toward your entry fees. So if you sell tickets you can earn free entry. All tickets and money must be turned in by February 28th.

 All breast cancer survivors in attendance will be recognized on stage and will receive a pink rose from Mississippi Belles State Queens. Please let us know of any survivors who plan to be attendance by giving us their name at registration.
 We will have a moment of silence and then read out the names of those who have passed away as a result of breast cancer. Please give us the name of anyone you would like to be remembered at the pageant.

 **We will in every effort to supply EVERY child with a toy or prize; for we do purchase extras to anticipate any Door Entries- BUT, we can only guarantee Pre-Registered Contestants. Any and all door entries will receive age division allotted prizes as first come basis. We would suggest a Deposit to Prevent disappointment**
 Contestants must compete in the appropriate age division. We allow a one month fall back or move up. If your age is questioned we will request to see a birth certificate. If a contestant competes outside their age division they will be required to relinquish prizes without return of entry fees, hotel cost or any fees related to the pageant.

 We allow make-up and hair pieces but please keeps it to a minimum. We want to see age appropriate.
 Pageant wear can be ANY long gown, short pageant dress or Sundays Best (No Attire Restrictions). Nail polish and tips as well as spay/lotion tans are acceptable, Think Natural Beauty!!!
 We are a Soft-Glitz pageant promoter, which means very little make-up on ages 2 and under and the child should look age appropriate. Each child will have a 1:30 seconds on stage and the judges’ full-attention. 
 We will provide you a snappy song or bring your own! Must be on a CD, No Phones!

 Highest Point Winner will be the Golden Rose’s Ultimate Grand Supreme Winner and will win a 24k REAL GOLD Dipped Rose–$100 Cash Along with a Beautiful Grand Supreme Crown!! 
 (25 contestants needed to award Cash)

 The Next Highest Point Winners will be our Grand Supremes from 0-4yrs & 5 and up! $20 Optional Entry

 Our Photogenic Supreme Winner is the Contestant that the judges picked as the Best Overall Photo from all entries submitted. Natural Photos please. 

 The Director’s Choice is the contestant that is recognized as the up and coming star in the pageant world!!
 The Face of 2015 Title is the Cutest Face in the pageant and can be chosen from any Age Group. (0-9 yr and 10 & UP Titles are Awarded)
 Divisional Supremes are also awarded in 0-4, 5-9, and 10 and up Age Divisions. 
 We also have Best Awards: Best Personality, Best Hair, Best Smile, and Best Photo & Prettiest Eyes. 
 Every child will receive a crown or award- also; small prizes will be given to each contestant that registers in advance before March 14th. 

• Deposit of $25.00 is requested before March 14th to receive prizes- CASH only to pay remaining balance at the door
• Door Entries will be accepted
• Sibling Discount HALF off each additional child after the first entry.

• ALL JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL- I Pay judges to write and tally the scores. As the Director, I only oversee the addition to make sure all awards are as accurate as possible. Poor Sportsmanship will not be tolerated and you will not be allowed to compete in the future. Remember- this is a competition and you will Win Some and Lose Some.
